Dear Lakehill Families,
Lakehill continues to monitor the latest developments and expert recommendations on Coronavirus (COVID-19). With the spread of the virus continuing in North Texas, and after a conference call this morning with the Heads of other ISAS schools, we have made the decision to extend our school closure through Sunday, April 5, 2020. Please keep in mind that there is a possibility that this will need to be extended. We will continue to evaluate conditions and update you weekly if a longer closure becomes necessary.
Proactive school closures have proven to be effective because they limit the interaction of both students and adults.
All events, athletics, field trips, after-school programs, meetings and gatherings on the Lakehill campus are cancelled until further notice. There will be no athletic or performing arts practices, games, or events during this period. Our priority is protecting the health and safety of everyone in our school community.
We are prepared to provide continuity of instruction for our students while they are away from the classroom. You will receive detailed information on Sunday, March 22, regarding our plans.
As the situation evolves, I realize you will have many questions. We will continue to update you directly by email as new information becomes available. We will also continue to post information on Lakehill's Coronavirus Webpage.
