ODOT Construction Update

MONDAY, JULY 9 : Construction is scheduled to begin on S.R. 552 for a resurfacing and culvert rehabilitation project, and the route will be  closed for up to 60 days for culvert work. The culverts to be replaced are located between S.R. 220 and C.R. 101 (Sheridan Road), and while the route is closed, motorists will be detoured via S.R. 104, S.R. 551 and S.R. 220. In addition, the route will be paved between its junction with S.R. 104 and S.R. 220, and during paving operations, traffic will be maintained in one lane with the use of flaggers. All work is anticipated to be completed in late summer. (#18-4002)

A bridge maintenance project is under way on S.R. 32, and crews will be painting and sealing various bridges between C.R. 87 (Goff Road) and C.R. 76 (Red Hollow Road). Traffic will be maintained in a minimum of one lane in each direction while crews are at work, and the project is scheduled to be completed in early summer (#18-1019)

C.R. 4 (Pike Lake Road) is closed for a slide repair project. The project site is located immediately south of the Ross County line, north of T.R. 238 (Egypt Hollow Road). Motorists will be detoured via C.R. 28 (Potts Hill Road) in Ross County and C.R. 3 (Morgan's Fork Road) in Pike County. The project is scheduled to be completed in early fall. (#18-0177)

S.R. 335 is closed between T.R. 511 (Straight Creek Road) and C.R. 50 (Watson Road) for a culvert replacement project. The route will be closed for up to 45 days, and while the route is closed, motorists will be detoured via U.S. 23 and S.R. 32. The local, assigned detour will be Watson Road, Higby Road and Old U.S. 35 in Ross County to S.R. 335. All work is anticipated to be completed in mid-summer. (#16-0571)

An intersection improvement and bridge replacement has begun on S.R. 124, just west of C.R. 6 (Lapperell Road). Traffic on S.R. 124 will be maintained in one lane with the use of temporary signals, while Lapperell Road is closed and traffic is being detoured via S.R. 124 and S.R. 41. The entire project is scheduled to be completed in mid-fall. (#17-0579)

As part of a districtwide chip-seal project, restrictions will be in effect on S.R. 335, between the north corporation limit of Beaver and T.R. 520 (Walker Ridge Road), for paving operations. Throughout construction, traffic will be maintained in one lane by flaggers, temporary signals and/or arrow boards when crews are at work. The project is scheduled to be completed in mid-summer.
