"Only when the last tree has died and the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realize we can't eat money." --Indian proverb
Ranch Foods Direct urges you to support regeneratively managed local farms!

This Saturday: It's a happy anniversary party!

When brothers Tim and Tom Black opened TapTraders last summer (at 3104 N. Nevada, back off the street and just north of the old Kmart building) they made it easy to "drink local," featuring 30 Colorado beers on tap along with the state's best ciders, wines and spirits. They kept the menu local too, establishing a meat-sourcing agreement with fellow neighborhood business Ranch Foods Direct, that includes Callicrate Beef burgers and Continental sausages. A few weeks ago they unveiled a new lunch menu that expands on their tasty early offerings.

Come help them celebrate their first year in business at an anniversary party
Sat., July 7 with "music, beer, food & fun!"
The schedule includes: Free bicycle wash 11 am - 4 pm; Roll Bike Art Show 1 pm - 4 pm; and live music from Feat. U - Turn Brass 6 pm plus $3 select draft beers and food giveaways throughout the day. (They also make outstanding cocktails, like the white sangria at right that is fruity and summery.) For more info, and a live music schedule, follow them on Facebook, CLICK HERE, or go to the TapTraders website.
