For a change of pace try a Halloween Canvas. There are two similar stitches that make realistic spider webs.
Over and under each length of yarn place in the the shape of a flower.
The result is this flatter version of a spider web.
This bumpier version
has a loop of yarn
around each spoke creating what's below.

DIY Croakie Designs
Whether you do initials, a geometric, flag or small icon you can design your own croakie and bring it
to us for finishing.
What you'll need:
1.
1" width by 12" long piece of 18 mesh canvas. (You may have a large canvas at home that has enough blank slevedge area to cut off a piece giving you these dimensions.) If you're not sure, bring it in and we'll guide you.
2. Indelible markers or acrylic paint for your design.
What to remember:
1.
Leave two rows on top and bottom for turnover.
2.
Leave 1" design free area of canvas on each end to assure none of your design is covered. If it's an all over design like the Greek key above you don't need to worry about this.
3.
Leave at least 1" of unstitched canvas around the entire design for the finisher to work with while finishing your croakie.
