Film Festival!

It is time for the Peabody Annual Film Festival. Each year, we offer a night for students to get together at school and watch some of their favorite movies. This year's festival will be held next Friday, April 20th from 3:30-7:30 and costs $15 {$7 for Pre-K}. This covers one slice of pizza and a drink. There will also be snacks for sale! Please see the PreK and K-8 offerings to see what movies will be screened and to register. Registration is due Friday, April 20th by 9:30AM.
Go to Hoothon!

Hoothon at UVA raises money year round for the UVA Children’s Hospital, where our money goes directly into research, programs, and creating miracles for children in the hospital. In April, our efforts culminate in a “Marathon” where we stand, or “dance,” for 10 hours for those who cannot. The dance Marathon is on April 21, 2018. 8th Grader Angus Leone is organizing a group of Peabody 5th-8th graders to attend from 12pm-2pm. We will pick the kids up from Peabody and take them to the Dance Marathon. If extra transportation is needed we can arrange that. The charge to go will be 20 dollars as a donation to the Cause. To sign up please fill out this form ( UVA Dance Marathon Signup ) and submit a $20 check to the front office with "Hoothon" in the subject line.

We welcomed our friends from Vauban School in Belfort, France! Peabody families are hosting students for two weeks while they attend Peabody and also participate in excursions to Monticello, D.C., and Shenandoah National Park. This exchange is the culmination of a three year partnership with Vauban.
