Dear Sky Room Patrons and Friends,

After 21 years of ownership, we are relinquishing ownership of the Breakers Building, The Sky Room restaurant, and Cielo to a company called Pacific 6- a business partnership comprised of locally-focused people. Their intent is to convert the entire building back into a grand hotel (its original iteration) with multiple restaurants and bars. After having given our all toward reviving the glorious past of all of the spaces in the building, emphasizing grandeur, great food and service, and plenty of music and dancing, we leave Long Beach and the building in the capable hands of Pacific 6 to carry on this storied establishment's already long legacy for many years to come. We will miss the restaurant, the rooftop view, our beloved guests, the City of Long Beach, and the unparalleled, dedicated staff we've been lucky enough to have.

With any end always comes a new beginning, and we're happy to say that we are now the proud owners of Chateau Sureau in Oakhurst, and The Mansion on Sutter in San Francisco (Early Summer 2018), Ampersand Restaurant in Calabasas (opening Fall 2018), as well as the continued proprietors at The Mirabelle Inn/First & Oak in the Santa Ynez Valley. We welcome you to visit us at any of our new ventures in the future and wish to thank everyone for their support over the past decades. We leave The Sky Room and Cielo on a high note, and are beyond grateful to have been given the opportunity to share in your celebrations, dinner plans, and unforgettable moments.
