Veterinarians: Register Now for Our Upcoming Acupuncture Courses!acupuncture

Registration is open for our next series of modules in our Veterinary Acupuncture Therapist program! Module 1 begins in August, so register now to get started!

Our inaugural group of graduates gave our Acupuncture Program great reviews!

"As usual, CRI presented a superior class. The size of the class was perfect for learning such a specific hands-on subject like acupuncture and Bonnie's ability to meld both Eastern and Western approaches to the subject was enlightening. I felt that having Kim, Susan and Lisa there provided a great range of experience and practical knowledge as well. I felt that my knowledge was deepened and my skill set improved with this class even though I am already certified."
- Beth Ellen McNamara, DVM, CCRT, CVMA, Harrison, Maine

"First class all the way. I put off my acupuncture training for a very long time because none of the classes felt right to me. I'm so glad Bonnie put all the work she did into this course. It was well worth my wait!"
- Teresa Calvert, DVM, CVSMT, Muncie, Indiana

Our Updated CCRT Curriculum Begins in 2020!ccrt

We are excited to announce our updated Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist (CCRT) program for veterinarians and physical therapists.

Starting January 1, 2020, the three modules for CCRT certification will be:
  • Module 1: Introduction to Canine Rehabilitation. The content of this module will remain essentially the same. This is a 5-day course.

  • Module 2: Clinical Skills (currently called Canine Rehabilitation Therapist). Students will be introduced to clinical assessment, goal setting, treatment planning, and outcome measurement from a physical therapy perspective. This is a 5-day course.

  • Module 3: Clinical Applications. This is a new hands-on course where students will be able to practice their evaluation skills, create assessments, and present treatment plans for all types of canine rehabilitation cases. This is a 3-day course.

  • Internship: A 40-hour internship remains a requirement for CCRT certification.
These changes only apply to the CCRT certification program for veterinarians and physical therapists. There is NO change to the CCRVN/CCRA curriculum for veterinary technicians/nurses.

Please see the CCRT page on our website for more details and the options for current students. Registration for January-February 2020 modules is open. Register today to reserve your seat!
words In the Words of Our Students ...

"I have taken so much away from this program. Can't say enough about the benefit this program has had to expand on my understanding of my other modalities especially chiropractic therapy. Some things seem intuitive from how you taught them and some of my other programs struggled to clarify the information."
- Troy Everson, DVM, CVA, CVMST, Fruita, Colorado
