Coronavirus Update
Superstition Mountain Residents,

Our top priority is to keep our community safe and healthy. We've been closely monitoring the recommendations and actions taken to help decrease the potential spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the state of Arizona.

After careful consideration the Owners Association is taking the following steps effective immediately:

  • Association Office: Effectively immediately and until further notice, The SMOA offices will have restricted access. The office will continue to be staffed, but we are requesting that personal contact be limited at this time. We highly recommend emailing our team if you have any questions before visiting the office. We understand that this may be an inconvenience and apologize. See the bottom of this email for contact information.

  • Note that the Association offices are experiencing an interruption in phone service; incoming calls do not reach staff. Please email at this time.

  • Common Areas: Residents visiting common area amenities are encouraged to take preemptive measures such as hand washing and hand sanitizing during and after visiting these amenities. If you or your family is showing symptoms of an illness; please refrain from using the common area amenities at this time.

  • Annual Meeting: Please watch for further communications regarding the Annual Meeting. We anticipate meeting quorum electronically via our online voting system. It is imperative that you vote electronically to help us meet this statutory requirement without the need for a large in person gathering. Electronic ballots will be distributed on Monday, March 23.

How can residents assist in limiting potential spread?
  • Communicate with office staff electronically. If you must stop by the office, please acknowledge that staff is practicing social distancing and will refrain from shaking hands, etc.

  • Help protect the guards by emailing your guest lists, and other communications, to minimize the face to face interactions at the entry gate.

Steps we have taken to help prevent the spread of COVID-19:
  • Any staff member who is feeling ill is encouraged to stay home and contact a healthcare provider.

  • Staff will work remotely on a rotating schedule.

  • Upcoming events such as the Luxury Home tour, and Speaker Series have been postponed or cancelled.

  • We are continuing to follow all health and safety protocols currently in place, as well as maintain a focus on cleaning high traffic, commonly handled surfaces.
