Summer Movies!
Keep an eye and ear out for summer movies!
Who:
Those going into grades 6 and up through college-age
What:
Meet at OSLC, grab a donut and walk together to the East Bethel Theater, catch a great movie and walk back for pizza and open youth room!
Movie:
Secret Life of Pets (PG)
Cost:
$5/person (plus money for snacks at the theater if you want)

9am-2pm

A new format for Wednesday night worship is coming. Starting on Wednesday, September 11, 7:00-7:30 p.m., this fun and engaging worship experience will use music, prayer, a short message, and communion to encourage youth in their faith journey and involve them in our church community. This new format is not completely designed, as of yet, but Director of Music & Worship Arts Jennifer Thurman will be leading a small team over the summer to brainstorm fresh, new ways to reach teenagers through worship and music. Hope to see you in the fall!

Sunday School is making a difference in our world!
Sunday School worked really hard this year raising money for Nace. They raised a grand total $2,329.53
With Nace's buying power (x8) that is the equivalent of $18,634.
Way to go Sunday School!

Confirmation Guides Needed!
For the 2019-2020 programming year, we are looking for confirmation guides for:
1 - 6th Grade Boys
1 - 7th Grade Boys
Commitment:
Be in relationship with and care for our young people for their 3-year Confirmation journey. No specific education or knowledge required or needed.
When:
School-year Wednesdays, 5:30-7:30pm
Periodic Guide Huddles Sundays 11:15am
Periodic Service Project - varies

Camper Blessing
is Sunday, June 16th at 10am worship. Please plan to have your camper(s) attend.

Vacation Bible School: Roar!— God Is Good
June 17-20, 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m., for children age 4 through grade 5 (completed)
Roar VBS is packed with incredible Bible-learning experiences kids see, hear, touch, and even taste! Sciency fun creations, team-building games, cool Bible songs, and creative treats are just a few standout activities that help faith come alive on this African Adventure! Let the good times roar!
Cost due with registration: $35 per child, with a max household cost of $80.
Payment Due June 2nd!
Volunteers Needed for Vacation Bible School
Middle school, high school and adult (18+) still needed!
Vacation Bible School Training for ALL
Sun., June 9, 11:00 a.m.
This training will be will cover the schedule, themes of the day, lessons, and other logistics. Training is required. Plan to stay late to decorate!
Background checks
are required for all volunteers, 18 years old and older. Please fill out and return to Kate.
