Yesterday, the chief justice of the Supreme Court of Virginia declared a judicial emergency for all district and circuit courts of Virginia. Through April 6, 2020, non-essential, non-emergency court proceedings in all circuit and district courts are suspended. For that reason, The Chief Justice's Pro Bono Summit, scheduled for April 1 in Richmond, has been postponed indefinitely.
