Last night at Youth group we shared things we are thankful for as we approach Thanksgiving. The more a word came up in our (text) conversation, the bigger it is in our word cloud.

We have much to be thankful for, and are very grateful for the support our wider church family has for youth ministry and the students and adults involved.

Sunday School will be back this Sunday at 10:00 am. This week we look at the whole idea of thankfulness as we prepare for a different holiday season. If you are an adult and can join us, please let me know as I have some spaces for 2nd adults over the next few Sundays.

Each week our youth group will gather at Reveille with the theme of worship, grow, serve, or play. This week is a serve week, and we won't be making sandwiches or yard work! Join us for the first part of making care kits for our college freshmen as part of this Sunday evening. Sign up by Wednesday, November 18th to participate.

We are approaching our last 2 youth groups for this year! (There's no session on Sunday 29th) and ahead of our Christmas Party on Dec 6th we need to be a little organized.

The party will be outside in the picnic shelter with a couple of open fires going for warmth and atmosphere! If you want to bring stuff for smores/hotdogs etc to roast/cook on a stick on the fire you are welcome to bring them but we can't allow sharing of food/utensils. Please also let me know what you're bringing so I can plan accordingly.

To make sure we keep to best safe practice, gifts for the gift exchange need to sit in "quarantine" for at least 3 days before the party, so please drop them off at church either this Sunday or no later than Wednesday Dec 2nd. Please place them in a bag with my name on it and bring to the back door of Reveille House.
