Not a day goes by that you don't hear a new report about the dire situation that we are facing due to climate change. Contrary to some beliefs, scientists have been researching and studying this problem for over 100 years and have come to a near-unanimous consensus that the burning of fossil fuels is the major contributor. While urgency for action is needed, the good news is that there is plenty of hope and opportunity. Come hear from Climate Reality Leader, Paula Clements--who was trained by Vice President Gore to mobilize communities for action. Her slide presentation will depict the urgency for climate action but is really a message of hope. Hand-wringing is a thing of the past; solutions to the crisis are known and actions are being taken. Come and learn what you can do to be part of the solution and help create a future that we can all live with!
