Florida Local Technical Assistance Program
Developing our technical assistance resources and trainings is a learning process for us at LTAP. Part of that learning process is finding what types of courses are most beneficial, and in what format. Your responses from our needs assessment have been extremely helpful- we've had several very successful courses so far, and we look forward to offering more in the near future.

Another part of the learning process is developing a newsletter that best serves everyone's needs. This newsletter includes some of our success stories, some relevant upcoming events, and our upcoming trainings. Please don't hesitate to register for whatever trainings would be beneficial to you, and give us feedback via email, phone, or our website. If you have any transportation-related success stories, feel free to share with us to be included in our next newsletter, and contact us for any technical assistance needs!

National Highway Institute Financial Planning Course
On April 16th and 17th, Florida LTAP sponsored a workshop in Orlando covering financial planning for transportation asset management. Taught by Brad Allen, the course aimed to address finding a long-term balance between funding needs and revenue sources. Through a short pre-course webinar, instructor-led session, and group work, participants gained hands-on experience developing effective financial plans that could be applied in their respective agencies planning processes. There were 13 participants from various agencies and firms, and we were proud to award them their certificates of completion. Thank you to all who attended!
