The Mass Department of Public Health recommends keeping your holiday gathering to a small group with whom you are regularly in contact. If you choose to celebrate with friends and family you do not typically have contact with, consider these important guidelines.
- Minimize contact with other people for 14 days before and after gathering and get tested at Swampscott’s drive-thru testing site.
- Set table placements 6-feet apart, open windows and doors, and do not serve food buffet-style. Consider having guests bring their own food, plates, and utensils.
-
Follow Massachusetts guidelines and limit your indoor gatherings to no more than 10 guests, and outside gatherings to no more than 25 guests.
- Do not attend a Thanskgiving gathering if you or anyone in your household has symptoms of COVID-19, is awaiting test results, or has been exposed to someone who is sick
