Did you know that local businesses, corporate bodies, landlords and lessees can play a part in shaping the future of Marion by voting in this November's council election?

Eligible businesses must enrol by 10 August, even if they have voted before, they will need to re-enrol.

Nominations for Hallett Cove Business Association's 2018 Local Business Awards have now opened.  
 
Nominations will be in presented six different categories: Retail (includes online), Trade and Services, Hospitality, Health, Beauty and Wellbeing, Professional and Business Services and Outstanding Customer Service.   
 
Nominate your favourite business by Sunday 12 August.

Winners will be announced at a cocktail event on Wednesday 29 August at Cove Civic Centre. Cast your vote now.

What's Happening at Tonsley?

SA's first driverless shuttle

A driverless electric shuttle has started transporting Flinders University students and the public around Tonsley Innovation District as part of a five-year trial.

Within a year, the shuttle will run to the Flinders Medical Centre and University's Bedford Park Campus before using main arterial roads around the entire Bedford Park Precinct. Book your ride today.

New Boiler House Brewhouse to tap into Tonsley's heritage

The iconic Boiler house at Tonsley Innovation District is set to brew up a unique hospitality offering for the district and southern Adelaide. This new brewhouse will be operated by Kidd Retail Group (KRG) and offer craft beers brewed on site under the Lady Burra labels, with meals, coffee and drinks throughout the day and entertainment in the evenings. It will employ 75 staff once operation commences next year.
