Dedication Sunday
November 22
In the past week you should have received a letter about the financial health of Highland Presbyterian Church and your part in this mission. Please plan to either mail or bring in your pledge card to Highland Presbyterian Church, 10024 Highland Rd, Baton Rouge, LA 70810, by November 22 if possible.

Lagniappe Ladies
Work Morning
Saturday, November 21
10:00 am
Ladies: We are continuing with our annual Christmas project of giving books to the first graders at Magnolia Woods Elementary. While we will not be able to deliver the books in person, we can still offer some excitement for the 64 first graders.
We have some books already wrapped from last year. There are other books that we need to wrap. If you would like to help wrap and prepare the books for delivery, plan to meet at the church at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 21, 2020. We will wear our masks and distance our activities. While some wrap books, others can help change out the bows and balls on the Christmas wreaths that will hang on the church doors. I believe we can complete these activities in an hour to two.

Advent Devotional
Joy to the World
available for pickup
November 29
As the season of giving begins, Highland has a gift for you - an Advent devotional book, Joy to the World, by John Piper. The 25 brief devotional readings begin on December 1 and carry us to Christmas Day. Our prayer is that God would use these readings to deepen and sweeten your adoration of Jesus this December and keep him as the center and greatest treasure of your Christmas season. For those not present at church during this time, watch your mailbox.

Sunday Worship
Rev. Day continues our journey with the early Christians in the Book of Acts on Sunday. "Always Fresh" is the title for his sermon that will focus on Acts 13:44-52 and Isaiah 42:5-9.

The Shepherd's Market Food Pantry
During this time of uncertainty, the Shepherd's Market Food Pantry greatly needs your support. Our blue grocery basket will remain in the Sanctuary as a reminder of this need and our ability to meet it.
