St. Louis Catholic School
October 21, 2020

Dear St. Louis Families,

I wanted to thank you for your diligence and partnership in assisting us with keeping our school building healthy and clean. Based on a recent diocesan survey of all its schools, St. Louis is one of 31 schools within the Diocese of Arlington that has not yet experienced a positive case of COVID-19. We are always mindful that we have been blessed and lucky to some extent as the virus is still very much actively a part of our community and our nation. And, we know that we are certain to encounter COVID within our school community at some time going forward. All that aside, it is everyone’s hard work and attention to health screenings and communication from the local health departments that has played a critical role in keeping us healthy thus far. We ask that you continue to be proactive with your own children and families and that you keep the communication open with us so we can work together to mitigate circumstances always erring on the side of extreme caution. Our school community’s health, safety, and welfare is of utmost importance to us.

With the holidays fast approaching, we recognize that families are making plans to visit with extended family or traveling for a change of scenery. Please take a moment to complete this short survey about your holiday plans—your responses received by Monday, Oct. 26 will help us determine the safest way to return our students to the building after each holiday.

God bless,
Anne M. Dyke
