Taste and See: Looking to drink in God's goodness during Eastertide? Join a small group Saturday excursion to the Wichita Art Museum on Saturday, April 14, at 10:30am. This guided experience will invite us to encounter God through our physical senses, especially sight, sound, and touch. While Saturdays include free admission to WAM, attendees should plan to purchase passes for the Monet to Matisse special exhibit. All are welcome. Email Maddy or Mother Sarah for more info.

Adult Forum is back! After the holiday seasons Adult Forum is back this Sunday, discussing "Blessed are the merciful for they shall receive mercy." Join us in the Guild Hall between Sunday services.

New Adult Class starting, this Tuesday, April 17th! Dr. Jim Lewis and Fr. Sam Criss will offer, on Tuesdays at 6:00 pm, an in-depth discussion of a great devotional and theological masterpiece of the 20th century. It's C.S. Lewis' "The Great Divorce," his powerful, dramatic and sometimes hilarious description of what happens when some denizens of Hell board a school bus for a trip to Heaven, where they are given a chance to stay. Get a copy of the book and read the Preface before class Tuesday. Books are available at Eighth Day Books.

 
Wednesday evening meals at St. James continue through May 9, in the Guild Hall at 5:15pm. A special thanks to repeat chefs, Jack and Susie Stallings, who served an amazing meal this past week. April 14th is the parish-wide potluck, when you get to bring a favorite dish to share! Don't miss out on these opportunities to be nourished by the beloved community!

Rummage Sale for Youth Programs May 31-June 2. We need volunteers to help staff the sale. Please sign up on the youth bulletin board or contact Anne Clark, [email protected]. We will start taking donations starting May 8th, so start saving your things!

Handbell Choir visitors welcome. For the remaining weeks of the choir season, anyone interested in learning more about the handbell choir is invited to attend a rehearsal to observe and maybe even give the bells a try. The Bell choir rehearses on Tuesday evenings at 7:30 in the undercroft.
