NIA Business Session
All member companies are invited to attend a Virtual Business Session to review and vote on the 2021 NIA Budget and proposed new Board member. Per NIA Bylaws, only Active NIA members, defined as Contractors, Distributors, Fabricators, and Laminators, will be eligible to vote and each Active member company will be entitled to one vote. The Business Session is free for all NIA members. To participate in the Business Session only, email [email protected] and include the participant's name and email address.

After the Business Session, we will continue the panel presentation with the industry leaders who took part in NIA's Virtual Fall Summit Keynote Presentation on Wednesday, Nov. 4. Our esteemed panel of thought leaders will pick up where they left off at Fall Summit and will share insights into the unique nature of the insulation industry in 2021 and answer your questions. Hear their views on what is ahead for our industry, including the challenges and the opportunities. Join us for this exclusive industry conversation.

Save the Dates: NIA Is Planning and Finalizing Our 2021 Meetings & Convention Schedule

Maui Convention Update
While we were all looking forward to the 2021 Annual Convention in Maui in March, NIA leadership has determined that due to ongoing COVID-19 safety concerns and travel restrictions, NIA will not hold an in-person event in the spring of 2021. NIA is currently working with the Maui property to rebook for a future year, so please stay tuned for an announcement soon!

Announcing NIA's Virtual Spring Summit and Fall Convention!
We are excited to announce plans to hold a Virtual Spring Summit and an in-person Fall Convention! In essence, we are flipping our 2 annual meetings: our Spring Summit event will be held online, and our in-person Annual Convention will be held in the fall in the Washington, DC, area. Dates for the Fall Convention will be announced soon too!

OSHA Issues Guidance on Frequently Cited Standards during COVID-19 Inspections 
OSHA has issued guidance and an accompanying one-pager to help employers understand which standards are most frequently cited during coronavirus-related inspections. OSHA based these documents on data from citations issued. The one-pager and guidance document provide available resources that address the most frequently cited standards, including Respiratory Protection, Recording and Reporting Occupational Injuries and Illnesses, Personal Protective Equipment, and the General Duty Clause.
