Synod News
Thank you to all of the Gulf Coast Synod local volunteers who helped host and facilitate the 2018 ELCA Youth Gathering! More than 31,000 participants, hundreds of service sites, hair donations and pints of blood donated and more than 40,000 books for Blast Off for Books - none of this could have happened without help from you!

On Sunday we learned that the next Youth Gathering will be in Minneapolis in 2021 - but click on the photo below to see the thank you to Houston video. Check out the Gathering Facebook page and the ELCA YouTube channel for all the Gathering coverage from this year.

Ben Groth Installation at Bethlehem Lutheran, New Orleans
Don't forget about Ben Groth's upcoming installation as the Redevelopment Pastor at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, New Orleans, on Sunday, July 15 at 3pm. Reception will follow.

Father Daniel Green, of Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, New Orleans, will be preaching, and Pastor Chris Markert will be presiding.
