GSU Riders
Winners of the  July 5 tickets

So the game on June 30, 2018 didn't quite go as well as it could have gone, but the Riders have a chance to turn it around this Thursday against the Hamilton Tiger Cats. Even though the outcome was not what Rider Nation wanted I hope Tina Cojocar and Gordon Knelson enjoyed it.

And the lucky winners who won tickets for the game this Thursday evening are Tasha Seitz and Gordon Knelson again.

We hope you both enjoy the game and check back as the next ticket draw will be in the July 17 TMM.

Staff Rep Steve Torgerson is assisting a member with their WCB claim.

A member was having difficulty with their Workers Compensation Board claim and they asked Torgerson for some assistance.

Working together they have initiated an appeal to the decision and the member is currently gathering additional medical evidence to be submitted to support the appeal.  It is always a good practice to appeal a sick leave or WCB claim. Sometimes with more detailed medical information your claim may be supported and you will continue to access the benefits you are entitled to.

If you have any questions about a WCB claim or have concerns  don't hesitate to talk to your Local elected officers or your GSU staff representative.

Contact information for GSU staff is available here.

Choose one of the first two options because lying on your resume is never a good idea. Here are four reasons you should never lie, exaggerate or say anything that isn't true on your resume.
