Jambo and Blessings to you all,
My dear friends, you all remain the focus of my personal prayers and mass intentions.
I want to share with you some reflections on the gospel reading of this past weekend.
We will continue to offer you updates, and try answer some questions that some of you keep asking, and especially concerning the celebration of the mass.
I m saddend that at this moment we are still not able to celebrate The Lord's Supper together as a Community. The Lord understands, and so must we.
My message from the 3rd Sunday of Lent:
In the gospel of last Sunday, both Jesus and the Samaritan woman were "thirsty"; Jesus thirsted for her healing and salvation. While the Samaritan woman thirsted for her freedom, respect, dignity, love, forgiveness, and of course her own salvation, among other things.
And Jesus, "the author of life", provided her with all that after a long conversation she had with her by the well. She went home healed and happy. And in return, invited other people from her village to "come and see" Jesus.
- At this time of anxiety, sufferings and fear in our country, and elsewhere around the world, let us invite "the Lord of life" in our lives.
- May we be courageous and strong for each other, and especially for the vulnerable members of our community.
- We are a people of Faith and Hope. Let's help in any way possible to bring hope and healing to everybody around us, and offer prayers to all. Let us bring others to Jesus through our daily prayers', care and love. Let us communicate with each other and find out how they are doing or if they need anything.
- And we must not be afraid. He is with us. And He thirsts for our healing and salvation.
Amen.
Stay Safe, Stay healthy.
Baraka Ya Yesu!
