On the Journey: Borders/Boundaries (2019 June) - HERE
Upcoming Worship Services

Sun Jun 30, 10:00am, Fellowship Hall
"Dreaming of Stepford Wives"
John Bell
In what ways do humans interact differently with things that have no actual inner life (like Amazon's Alexa), and things that do, like our families. Why does our society increasingly seem to prefer the former over the latter? John Bell is a longtime member of the UU Fellowship of Northern Westchester, Mt. Kisco. An avid gardener, he is co-president of the Friends of Hilltop Hanover Farm and Environmental Center.

Sun Jul 7, 10:00am, Fellowship Hall
"Coming Home"
Rev. Lane Cobb
Coming home isn't as easy as one might think. Let us explore what it means to come home and the magic and missteps that lead us back to the heart of who we are and the place we long to be. Rev. Cobb is an interfaith minister, author, and holistic intuitive spiritual life and wellness coach. Her parents are CUUC members Jim and Mary Lane Cobb
Summer Services at CUUC

Starting Sun Jun 30, 10:00am in Fellowship Hall
Led by members, friends, and guest ministers, summer Sundays are personalized and informal, so folks have opportunities to participate more and grow closer. Music is provided by our talented musicians and guests. The nursery is staffed for young children. After worship we have time for conversation and community, with light refreshments available at our self-serve table. Regular services and religious education classes start again on Sun Sep 8. Hope to see you here this summer! See 2019 speakers and themes HERE.
Self Serve Refreshments

It's summertime, and the set up is easy! Pitchers of lemonade and water are in the kitchen and our box of treats is by the refreshment table. Everyone helps set out drinks and snacks for hospitality time after worship. Then we all put items away for next week. Feel free to bring in your own treats, too! Learn more HERE.
Bike Wanted

Hearts and Homes for Refugees is looking for a bike for a recently arrived refugee family that loves to ride. We have received donated bikes for the children, and now need a bike for dad so he can ride with them. They came to the U.S. this past winter after the father had worked for the U.S. Army in Afghanistan. Won't you help the family get out and enjoy themselves on their bikes this summer? Contact [email protected].
Be Moved!

Past Prime Time Dance Group, Wed Mornings, 8:30am, Fellowship Hall
Get moving with CUUC's Past Prime Time Dancers! We meet weekly in Fellowship Hall this summer. Class is free for CUUC members; suggested donation of $5 for non-members. All are welcome! Contact Terri Kung ([email protected]).
Drivers Needed

Our newest Afghan family needs rides from New Rochelle to Yonkers and back on six Sundays starting June 30. We want volunteer drivers to pick up the family of four at 12:30pm from Huguenot Street, New Rochelle, and drive to Sarah Lawrence College's Center for the Urban River at Beczak, 35 Alexander Street, Yonkers. We then need drivers to pick them up at 4:00pm and return them home. Contact Jane Dixon ([email protected]).

June is National Ocean Month. Help protect our health and the health of our oceans. Click HERE to use the EPA's searchable database to find new EPA endorsed products, and to see if your household products are good choices.
