Parent Update - Home of the Bullfrogs
A Note From Mrs. Yacek
Good afternoon LRES Families,

Thank you to all of the Hybrid families that returned the Chromebook forms. We have been sending Chromebooks home with students and will continue to do so, until all requests are filled. Parents, if you are planning to change your child’s schedule (hybrid to remote, or remote to hybrid) for the next trimester, please let me know ASAP.

Please send me your request in writing. The next trimester begins December 7th. We would need to plan for these changes, which would include a change of classroom teachers. The more we know ahead of time, the better prepared teachers will be for those changes.

This Friday, November 20th is the last day for families to complete the Climate Survey for LRES. Please consider completing this survey. Your feedback is very important to us. Click Here

As always, thank you for your continued support and flexibility!

Upcoming Dates

  • Wed - Fri, November 25 - 27 - No School - Thanksgiving Holiday
  • Monday, December 4 - Trimester 1 Report Cards are finalized
Attention Parents & Guardians:

Individuals who travel outside the New England region will be subject to quarantine upon return. This means that students who travel outside of New England for the Thanksgiving Holiday will not be able to return to school on site until 14 days after their return.

Please stay in touch with your child's teachers to let them know if your child will need to be out of school after the Thanksgiving break so that proper arrangements can be made. Thank you!
As a reminder, our return-to-school procedures (relative to COVID-19) for students were updated in September. Our student handbook, available on our website, includes these updated procedures.
The 2019-2020 Report Card to the Community is now available!  Click here to see the report including a review of events and activities throughout the school year, as well as information on finances, graduates, students and staff.
Hybrid & Full Remote Families

During remote learning days, students need to be engaged in their learning at home in order to be marked present for the school day. Classroom teachers justify attendance and mark students present on remote days when students complete assignments and join in on their google classroom live sessions (when scheduled). Some teachers may have students answer an attendance question as well. Students who are not attending to any google assignments or meetings will be marked absent.

The next materials pick up for full remote students will be this Friday, November 20th between 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm.
Nutrition Services Information

A Message From Our Health Office
A friendly reminder to families that are planning or considering travel this holiday season that students who travel outside of New England are required to quarantine for 14 days after they return. There is no testing out of this quarantine period. This is per Raymond School District, in alignment with state public health recommendations. Also keep in mind that as cases rise in most of the country, New Hampshire Division of Public Health Services is continuing to look at travel guidance and these recommendations are subject to change.

Also, please understand that if your student has had any contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, that is something that needs to be communicated with the school nurse and will likely result in the need for your student to be excluded from school for 14 days. There is no testing out of a quarantine period. This is per Raymond School District, in alignment with state public health recommendations.

Please also continue to keep students home who are ill and communicate with the school nurse as soon as possible so that we can review recommendations and return to school protocols with you. We continue to recommend that any student who has any symptom on the COVID-19 symptom checklist, however mild, get tested promptly for COVID-19.

Thank you for your continued cooperation and support as we do everything in our power to keep students safe and learning!
