2018-19 Action Steps
In Pleasantdale schools, we have a clear focus on doing what is best for students, families and staff, and to that end, we have created a road-map that provides us with the direction we need to build a better school district.

Thursday April 19th, 7:00-8:30 p.m. at
LT South Campus

Join Parent Community Network, in partnership with local area School Districts 101, 102, 105, 106, 107, and 204, for a 60 minute film screening of the documentary "Kindness is Contagious" followed by a brief panel discussion led by students and members from our districts as we explore how to work together to create a  bully-free, lower stress, kinder community.
"Kindness Is Contagious" profiles cutting-edge scientists and best-selling authors from Berkeley to Harvard and everywhere in between as well as real life people from all walks of life whose lives illustrate their incredible discovery:  Nice guys finish first!
Registration is free but required.  Click here to register you and your child(ren) today!
Summer Academy Registration

Our Summer Academy will be held at Pleasantdale Middle School from June 11 - July 6 y (no class July 4), with classes offered from 8:50 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Monday - Friday of each week.   Take a look at our program book and register your child online today!  Please contact Meg Knapik with any questions at [email protected] or (708) 246-7373.

Change in School Lunch Account System for Next Year!
In an effort to streamline payments, the District will not be using MySchool Account.com  next school year 2018-2019. Instead payments will be made through RevTrak via Skyward Family Access. With the change in systems, all funds left in your account will NOT be rolled over but any amount greater than $1.00 will be refunded to you by the end of June or if you so choose, you may donate your surplus funds to the District's Angel Fund - a fund that supports our most needy families. All families will receive an email at the end of May asking if you would like a refund or to donate your funds. In the meantime, if you will be adding funds to your student's account between now and the end of the school year, please calculate an estimate of how much your child will spend so that you are not adding too much to your child's account.
