Change the Channel
I will choose to change the channel
When I see all my thoughts are wrong.
When I'm anxious, worried, or negative
I'll change the channel and they'll be gone.
It's so easy to slip into negative thinking
Then negative thoughts all come out.
Not pleasant for me or others
For then we pout or shout.
So I'll change the channel of my thinking
And think of what's good and true.
This will be very helpful for me
And it will be helpful for others too.
So I must remember I do have a choice
As to what I choose to think.
I'll keep the channel changer handy today
So my thoughts will be good - not stink!
