This summer: Ways to worship, serve with Covenant
A look at what's ahead
Longer days and holiday breaks invite rest and opportunities to do more of what we love. We know the Covenant community loves to serve and care for their neighbors, so in July, we're featuring stories and invitations from people who are spending their summer serving others. We hope you'll join us and share a few minutes of your time and compassion serving alongside us.
  • Sunday: Come to any worship service and hear from Margaret Schriefer, People in Mission Intern, and Lucy Bush Carter, Executive Director of Friendship Trays, about the joy of being part of a team that serves meals each day to neighbors who experience food insecurity.

  • Stay after worship in the Fellowship Hall at noon for a few minutes to write a personal note to meal recipients. Many meal recipients don't make it out of their homes often and will appreciate hearing from someone who thought of and prayed for them the weekend before!
