Recycling & Much More
Follows Run with Rotary @ Skillman Park
Come for the Run, Stay for the Fair!

Start your day with a little exercise for a good cause. The 12th annual RUN WITH ROTARY 5k Run and 1 mile Ramble events will start at 10:00am at our town's beautiful Skillman Park (registration sign-in begins at 8:30am). In past years, the race has attracted 900 runners and walkers and is a sanctioned Grand Prix event by the USA Track and Field organization. Return for a great family tradition or start a new one of your own. Run as an individual or with the whole family.

Run With Rotary is the Montgomery/Rocky Hill Rotary Club's main fundraising event. All proceeds benefit local and international charities. One of this year's major goals is to purchase an upgraded mobile soup kitchen and disaster unit for Samaritan Homeless Interim Program.

Register online for the Run With Rotary at www.RunWithRotary.org

The morning Run With Rotary event will also include music, supervised runners' kid-care for ages 4-8, Penn Medicine Princeton Health activities, MHS Drum Corps, Dance Factory performance, Ahn's Taekwondo demonstrations, massage tables, Zumba class, 50/50 Raffle, kid's activities, and more.

After the race, stay for the 13th Annual  EARTH DAY FAIR, a family afternoon to celebrate our earth and learn more about the environment. The fair  includes free family activities such as environmental information booths, a science fair, Earth Day art show, kid's activities, food, and a recycling drop-off.

There will be recycling collections for metals, electronics, medications, paper shredding, gently used clothing, business attire for Dress for Success, children's books, bicycles, printer cartridges and more. For a full list of  accepted recyclables, visit: http://edf.montgomery.nj.us/?p=823.

The Earth Day Fair is FREE and open to the public, everyone is welcome to drop items or park and stay.  The activities will be held between Larocque Circle and the Village Elementary School starting at 12:00 pm.  We are asking residents to also please bring a donation for the Montgomery food pantry.  Suggested items are found at link above.

With the Montgomery Twp. School District's support, there will be lots of opportunities for local children and teens to be involved, including the science fair, art show and a "Battle of the Bands" featuring Montgomery students.

Registration for the Run or Ramble is now open online, visit: RunWithRotary.org. You can register as an individual or as a team. Ribbons will be awarded to the Most Spirited team, Best Dressed team, and other categories. Rotary offers recruiting incentives for the top three largest teams on race day, visit the website for details!
