A special thank you to Matt Taverna , husband of our Policy Officer Ellen Taverna , for organizing a birthday fundraiser for The Arc of Massachusetts. Matt spent his birthday boxing for The Arc and soliciting donations from his Facebook friends, bringing in nearly $1,700 in support of our mission. Grandparents can play important roles in the lives of children. Grandparents can teach new skills; play games; and provide wisdom, family history, a sense of humor, an ear to listen, emotional support, and unconditional love! In the next few days, we'll be sharing stories from grandparents and grandchildren. You can read the first one at the link below.
2019 Transition Conference
Registration is officially open!
This full day conference, welcoming families of loved ones ages 12-26 and professionals, will be held on Saturday, November 16 at the Hogan Campus Center at the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester. Registration is $75 per person .
