Following the recommendations from Governor Hogan to slow the spread of COVID-19, Lake Linganore Association is suspending all LLA sanctioned activities and meetings starting at 5 pm, Friday, March 13th, through at least Friday, March 27th, and the
Egg Hunt with the Bunny scheduled for April 4th
. This includes all committee and Board meetings, compliance hearings, village events and LLA hosted events.
We encourage all Members and Residents to stay home if you can and refrain from gathering in large crowds. While we are not closing amenities such as tot lots, basketball court, etc., we encourage you to take extra precautions should you and your children choose to utilize them. Take hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes with you, and
follow the best practices encouraged by the CDC
.
In addition to the suspension of meetings and activities, the LLA office will be closed to walk-in traffic beginning Monday, March 16th, through at least Friday, March 27th. During this timeframe, business operations and services will continue as usual. Staff will be available via phone and email during office hours (
Staff Directory
), and maintenance will continue to complete projects throughout the community. As always, emergencies will be handled if they arise.
Please call the main phone line (301-831-6400) Monday through Friday between 9 am and 5 pm to speak to staff and continue to use the after-hours answering line (301-293-3802) for facility-related emergencies (i.e., fallen trees blocking roadways).
We will continue to monitor the situation and will reevaluate weekly. Please read below to learn how staff can best address common requests while the office is closed. Thank you for your patience.
