ACDA Online Resources & Tools
TOOLS & IDEAS
We are seeing the coronavirus pandemic cause widespread disruptions and tragedies. In the United States, as cities and states implement measures to prevent the spread as much as possible, public events are being cancelled or postponed, and many school districts are closing or moving to online classes.
At the same time, we are witnessing the creativity, ingenuity, and leadership of choral professionals and the wider choral community as we create and share resources to help themselves and others. This page, a work in progress, is an attempt to collect many of these ideas and suggestions in one place: Resources for Choral Professionals During the Pandemic.
Our YouTube channel has hundreds of inspirational recordings, including highlights of performing and honor choirs from national and regional conferences.

INTERACT ONLINE
ChoralNet is ACDA's online community. There are excellent blog posts most days of the week, as well as announcements, questions and answers, classifieds, and more.
Sign up for our online mentoring program now. You don't need to be a student to learn (though we welcome you if you are!). Explore a new genre, share strategies with another conductor - peer learning is a lifelong option.
LEARN ONLINE
ChoralNet Professional Development Blog: Leading Voices. Music educator Brian O. Ackles has begun a new Wednesday blog series on
ChoralNet that is a little different. He is leading readers inside his classroom with readings and video, all designed to create a learning community around music education. His weekly posts are combined with periodic live online meetings.
There is still time to join in! Here are the posts thus far:
View and listen to presentations on region-specific traditions, rhythms, etc.
SEARCH FOR REPERTOIRE ONLINE
Start planning for fall now, or just enjoy exploring new repertoire ideas. We have collected ACDA's resources, including a link to access Musica International for free (for ACDA members).
