President's Message

TRUST ISSUES
Instead of the euphoria that we all expected after working so hard this election cycle, we are left with uncertainty and anger. Our efforts in Florida were a success, but ultimately frustrated by a handful of states that are either incompetent or corrupt. With such a massive population, we can accept a small degree of human error in our elections. However, that does not mean that we should simply trust the word of anyone in government. Without transparency and a vigorous new media to expose government overreach and fraud, any election irregularity is now viewed with skepticism and mistrust.

That said, the sun will rise tomorrow, God willing, and we will continue fighting. We have an imperfect union, but it works. When the election is declared through the legal process, only then must we accept the outcome. In the meantime, I applaud YOU! My posse of incredible Trump warriors and advocates for Republican candidates. You stood in the heat for hours on end, waived flags, jockeyed signs, decorated the "Trump tree," passed out water, persuaded voters and made new friends, called voters, poll watched, showed grace in the face of the haters and mask Nazis, you voted, and you prayed. Win or lose, you were incredible and I am so proud. Some of your photos will be appearing soon on our website.

Last, but not least, congratulations to our very own David Smith! He won re-election and will continue serving the 28th District in the Florida House of Representatives.

May God bless us all,
Bonnie Jackson
Nominations and Elections
It is election time again! No kidding. The first term for our current Board of Directors is ending on December 31, 2020. The members of the Board are eligible for a second term, but we have term limits and two terms is the maximum.

A nominating committee was assembled to identify a slate for consideration at the November meeting. Whether or not there is a nominee, any active member in good standing may serve by being nominated from the floor. The nominee must be present and accept the nomination before the vote. All active members as of November 1, 2020, are eligible to vote. In other words, if you want to serve in any position, you will have an opportunity at the November meeting.
