SCHS is a Blue Star Museum

The Scott County Historical Society is again participating in the Blue Star Museum program, a collaboration among the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, the Department of Defense, and more than 2,000 museums across America, offering free admission to the nation's active duty military personnel and their families through Labor Day.

River Valley YCMA Seeking Volunteers for Lakefront Music Fest

The YMCA is a non-profit partner with the Prior Lake Rotary for Lakefront Music Fest.  They are selling tickets for the event for $40 for BOTH nights.  $15 of the proceeds directly comes back to the Y to support our community.
 
They are also seeking  volunteers.  With each volunteer hour worked the Y gets $20 back to support the community PLUS you get free admission into the concert for the whole weekend!
