Worship This Weekend

Lent has begun and so has Rev. Jim Warren's sermon series, "In the Wilderness."  Come this Sunday morning to either the 9:00 traditional service or 10:15 progressive service to hear him preach on Mark 1:12-15.  Jesus went into the wilderness for forty days to prepare himself for his ministry. The wilderness taught him a lot. Likewise, we have much to learn from our sojourn in the wilderness.

About Lent 2020:
This year's theme is "In the Wilderness." We'll go on a forty day journey through the wilderness to see what we learn about God and about ourselves. When we emerge from the wilderness Easter Sunday we'll be deeper Christians, more prepared to live our faith in our daily lives. This theme and these sermons were suggested by a Lenten sermon series preached by Tim Brusten.

The Chancel Choir is preparing a meaningful gift of music for the 9:00 a.m. traditional service.   At the 10:15 a.m. One and All service, the band will have an acoustic sound you will enjoy hearing and singing along with.

L enten Devotionals are available and can be picked up from the table outside the sanctuary or from the table outside Fellowship Hall.

Can't attend this Sunday?  Tune in at 9:00 a.m.on our Facebook Page, or on our website ( www.blmfcc.com), to see a live stream of the traditional service!  You can watch  and worship along with folks at FCC.  Be sure to tell your friends!
