GREATER SUDBURY TO HOST 2020 TMAC CONFERENCE AND AGM

During the lunch on Saturday, June 22, 2019, Shawna Cole, Dana Jennings and Johanna Gatien invited TMAC to Greater Sudbury for its 2020 Conference & AGM taking place June 9-12, 2020. Attendees got a taste of Sudbury over a highly competitive game of Porketta. Winners received one of three beautiful Greater Sudbury gift baskets.

"This conference hosting opportunity presents Greater Sudbury with the potential to generate considerable media attention from across the country, and TMAC members will be visiting several of the city's marquee attractions, event venues, culinary feats, and Greater Sudbury's hidden gems while they are here partaking in three-day pre-tours followed by the four-day conference," said Dana Jennings, Manager of Tourism & Culture with the City of Greater Sudbury. "This is a chance for Sudbury to put our best foot forward to showcase our city to Canada's best and most active professional travel writers, broadcasters, editors, bloggers, online influencers and photographers, and we are excited to introduce them to many of our wonderful local tourism partners as they experience our warm and authentic northern hospitality."
