ABOUT the workshop

SCORE is offering individual one-on-one learning experiences to enhance your knowledge of QuickBooks.

These sessions are designed with you, the client, in mind. Before the session, we will contact you to discuss an agenda to meet your specific needs and to set a mutually agreeable appointment. With individual help, think how quickly your understanding of QuickBooks will increase!

The one-on-one learning experience offers hands-on instruction as you make entries on your laptop computer. Instead of just telling you how to do it, we encourage and guide you to navigate through the system, making actual entries in your data file. It’s an approach designed to help you learn QuickBooks using the features that are most applicable to your business. Our motto is you learn by doing.

Individual sessions are held most Mondays and Wednesdays from 2–4 pm. Sessions are two hours in length. After registering the instructor will contact you to set up your actual appointment time. 

Please note: we do not teach the MAC version of QuickBooks. To attend this class you must bring a laptop loaded with QuickBooks 2014, 2015, 2016.

Fee $40

ABOUT our Instructor 

Wendy Lerner, SCORE Volunteer

This hands on workshop is taught by Wendy Lerner, a SCORE volunteer. Wendy graduated from Mississippi State University with a BS in Accounting.  She passed the CPA exam in 1980.  Additionally she is a certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor and has taught QuickBooks at Chattahoochee Tech.

She has experience working with businesses in various industries and volunteers with AARP Tax Prep.
