Alberta Medical Association
Youth Run Club

This past fall, in partnership with the Alberta Medical Association (AMA), we launched GO! Run - a 'Girls Only!' run club program that aims to increase girls participation in sport and physical activity. The program helps girls focus on age appropriate skill development, while also building the confidence they need to enjoy and experience physical activity now and through their lifetimes.

The program is designed to work in tandem with the AMA Youth Run Club - a free, school-based running program that's currently operating in over 400 Alberta school communities and counting.

Watch our new video below to hear what girls have to say about participating in GO! Run and visit our website to learn more about how you can start a GO! Run program in your school community.
