On October 1st, Ready2ACT celebrated its 15th year in business! And I consider YOU as a travel partner on this journey with me.   I absolutely couldn't have done it without you, nor can I take the next steps without your help.  Although I have done little to show my appreciation, I'm very grateful for your  warmth, friendship, and support  through this time.

When my husband died in June, I had no idea how many people's lives he had touched until they sent messages telling me what he meant to them.  I thought some of those people barely noticed him, but that wasn't true. The truth is that all of us contribute to each other's lives in some way.  Even your smile, on a day when someone was longing for kindness and to be seen, may have changed that person's life!  Do you realize how many journeys you are on?

Luckily, I get to see many of you in person, in training and at various networking events. But I also get to see you right here on the web, too. Your kindness, sympathy*, and encouragement has inspired me, and I constantly strive to meet your professional development needs by improving myself as well. 

Learning about you, with you, and from you has been the most enriching experience of my life!

I encourage you to talk with those in your life, understand how you support them in their journeys, and tell them how much they mean to you before it's too late. 

Thank you for being on this 15 year journey with me. You have honored me with your presence.

*In lieu of a celebration or gifts, I will be contributing to the American Cancer Society not only to honor my husband's memory but also to respect all of you who wrote to me last month about how your lives have been touched by cancer and various diseases.  I salute you all for your courage in the face of adversity!
