Staff Member of the Month:
Lola, our new Co-Program Director!
Lola Fennimore, PATH INTL Instructor
"Hello RHR family and friends! I am honored and proud to have become a bigger part of the program. As a new New Jersyan (we moved from Brooklyn a little over a year ago), it is wonderful to have a new barn home. Everyone is so gracious and kind, love the team and our clientele! Our equine herd is a special group!"
Horse of the Month:
Jax
This month we welcome Jax, our new pony!

Jax has been with us for a few months making him the newest member of our herd! He is a 14-year-old Welsh Cross who was a show pony in his past. Jax made a wonderful and seamless adjustment into our program and we are very excited for our kids to work with him!

Jax loves going out with his "sisters" Amber & Bubbles. He also loves to dunk his hay in his water!
Meet Our New Program Assistant:
Rebecca
"I have been riding English since I was nine years old and I am currently working on jumping courses in my riding lessons".

Testimonials from Therapists:

"Rebecca is a good horse person — the best — and so talented as a lead-walker."

"Rebecca is driven to do well and is very organized."
Meet Our Fall Intern:
Patty
"Since being an intern at RHR I've enjoyed how welcoming the staff and patients have been towards me. Every day I enjoy learning new techniques of therapy. My experience has been nothing but positive. I love it here!"

We wish Patty the best when she returns to school in December; she will be missed by all and most of all by our horses who appreciate her leadership and enjoy her company.
Italian Welfare League Grant
RHR is a recipient of a generous grant from the Italian Welfare League, an organization which assists children of Italian descent who have developmental disabilities, are ill, or have suffered an emotional trauma. Since 2001, the League has donated more than $1,850,000 to over 1,470 recipients for medical bills, special needs equipment, therapeutic services, transportation, and rehabilitation. Their grant helps us to provide services for children of Italian descent who otherwise would not be able to afford our services.
