CanadaDE, Trust the Process!
This month, 32 credit union professionals from 6 countries completed the one-week CanadaDE
program at Saint Mary's University.
The Credit Union Development Education (aka DE) program tackles the pressing challenges that credit unions face
, all in the context of the
co-operative
business model and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

CME Academic Director Sonja Novkovic Presents at the Co-Op Congress 2018 in London
Sonja Novkovic attended the Co-operatives UK Congress in London on June 23, and delivered an interactive workshop on measuring the social impact of cooperatives. The overall theme of the congress was co-operative difference.
Think Different
was a dynamic display of the diverse and vibrant UK co-operative movement, with plenty of topics to choose from. The highlight was a live crowdfunding session providing support to new platform co-operative startups. Upcoming dates and locations: 3-Day Executive Education - Enhancing Business Performance through Co-operative Management Practices
This course tackles how to manage the co-operative equilibrium, building on the dual aspects of membership and enterprise embedded within the co-operative business model. Learn how to strengthen identity and loyalty. Led by Dr. Daniel Cote, in addition to co-operative sector featured speakers, participants will dig into case studies that help illuminate major issues and opportunities for the co-operative business model (co-ops and credit unions).
