A Note from Susan Holt:

Welcome back to IvyNotes! We hope you enjoyed Spring Break. Thanks to all who participated and helped make Spirit Week a fun memory for our students and staff!

Please note the following calendar reminders and updates:

The Professional Day scheduled for Friday, April 13th
, has been canceled. It will now be a regular school day for students and staff.

Please make sure to update your calendars:
our last day of school is now  Wednesday, June 13th.
School will dismiss at 12:45 p.m.

Also, we have released our school calendar for 2018-2019 and it has been posted on our website. Look for a hard copy of the calendar in your student's backpack coming home tomorrow.

Please note that Gator Café will be CLOSED tomorrow for student training and will  reopen for business on Tuesday.

Finally, we are very excited to announce that the Ivymount Gala will take place on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at the Washington National Cathedral.

March Madness - Video Game Tournament

The dust has settled on our 5th Annual B.B. Krauss Video Game Championship Series. Congratulations to Theresa O., our 2018 champion and Christianson B. who came in 2nd place. Nearly 50 students participated in this double elimination tournament. Named in honor of Beverly Krauss, a long-time Ivymount MAP volunteer, the tournament epitomizes the unbending and resilient spirit of our students. With each grueling, intense video match, they were reminded of the tournament's theme: win or lose, act like a champion. With a  Final Four field loaded with big-time gamers ready to battle, Theresa ultimately emerged victorious.
