Francisco (Frank) Alfonso as its new director of nursing. University Plaza is located at 724 N.W. 19th Street in Miami, Florida. Alfonso is a
Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP/ARNP) who is able to assess, diagnose and treat subacute illness and chronic conditions allowing him to provide a higher level of sub-acute care. In fact, at all six Plaza Health Network centers, ARNPs are part of an on-site interdisciplinary team that is helping to redefine the way care is delivered to patients. Ponce Plaza Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, brings his extensive experience and wealth of knowledge to University Plaza, a facility equipped to provide subacute and critical care as well as rehabilitative services, located in the heart of Miami's medical district.
