1st Annual Marina Mac Fest

Somers Cove Marina is pleased to announce the first annual Marina “Mac” Fest on June 30th. Charlie “Mac” McClenahan was a former mayor of Crisfield, state delegate, founding member of the Crisfield Chamber of Commerce and the Somers Cove Yacht Club. We are hosting a celebration featuring Front Page News, vendors and food! The cost is $10 per person and proceeds are going to benefit the Somerset Community Services, one of Charlie Mac’s favorite charities. .
Habitat for Humanity Homeowner Roof & Repair Grant and Loan Interest Meeting

Currently there is a gap in resources to fund home modifications and critical home
repairs to low income, elderly homeowners that live in Somerset County and across the region.
HFHWC has submitted an abstract to the Rural Maryland Council for a grant application to serve
up to 11 homeowners with roof replacements and up to 12 homeowners with ‘aging in place’
home modifications. Elderly homeowners will receive assistance in completing the applications. For homeowners unable to attend, information is available by calling Habitat for Humanity at
