SUMMER BIBLE READING PLAN
WEEK 5
Hello Trinity Family!

I am so grateful for your faithfulness in journeying through the Gospels with your Trinity Church family this summer. This week, we’ll start reading the book of Mark where Jesus, the Anointed One, is presented as a man on a mission to change the world through love and power. Recording nearly three times as many miracles as parables, Mark is a Gospel of miracles! I pray as you read this account of Jesus’ life and ministry, you’re inspired to live as supernaturally as He did, and do even greater works!

Jesus…preached the wonderful Gospel of God’s Kingdom realm. His message was this: “At last the fulfillment of the age has come! It is time for the realm of God’s Kingdom to be experienced in its fullness! Turn your lives back to God and put your trust in the hope-filled Gospel! ( Mark 1:14-15)

Together, let’s turn, trust and experience the fullness!

Below is this week's daily reading plan. Be sure to tag  @trinity_online  or use the  #tcbiblereading  on all your social media accounts so we can encourage one another in our reading. We love following your stories of the power of God’s Word!

Blessings,

Pastor Jim

Extra Reading:
Don’t miss out on soaking each week in the wisdom from God found in Proverbs and the passion for God found in the Psalms. Continue adding one chapter from Psalms and one chapter from Proverbs to the daily Bible reading. This week, we’ll continue with the next seven chapters of the book of Psalm, and mid-week, start over with Chapter 1 of Proverbs.

Weekly Prayer:
Thank you, Father, for the privilege of reading and hearing Your Word. Give me a renewed passion for Your Word. I want it to bear lasting fruit. Deepen my longing to understanding the Scriptures. Bless me with wisdom in how to apply it. Give me the grace to obey You no matter what the cost. Teach me to live by the Spirit and rely on Your strength every day. I want Your Word to get past the beaten paths of my life, take root deep within my heart, and keep me standing strong in the face of hardship. I want to be salt and light to my family, friends, and even strangers. Give me opportunities to sow seeds of Your Word in the lives of people all around me. I open my heart fully to receive
Your Word today. In Jesus’ Name.
(Prayer taken from Mark 4)

Weekly Memory Verse(s):

Then Jesus said to her, “Daughter, because you dared to believe, your faith has healed you. Go with peace in your heart, and be free from your suffering! (Mark 5:34 TPT)

Drink deeply of the pleasures of this God.
Experience for yourself the joyous mercies He gives
to all who turn to hide themselves in Him. (Psalm 34:8 TPT)

Every promise from the faithful God
is pure and proves to be true.
He is a wrap-around shield of protection for all his lovers
who run to hide in him. (Proverbs 30:5 TPT)

Daily Prayer:
Father, I thank You for today and for the loving gift of Your Living Word. Let me feel the weight of this Sword and its power. Reveal to me its life-altering truths. Help me find freedom in Your Word. And as it changes my mind, heals my heart and cuts away sin, I want to become a witness to others, that it may change them, too. Father, let what I learn in my time with You overflow throughout my day to encourage, build up and comfort others around me. I want the realm of Your Kingdom to be experienced in its fullness! I put my trust in the hope-filled Gospel! In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
