Main Street Alexander City's Downtown Lighting Project
In 2019 Main Street started a downtown lighting project. Phase one consisted of the roundabout, plaza, trees on Main and Calhoun and uplighting in Strand Park. We are now raising money to begin phase two of the lighting project which will include bistro lighting in areas as well as additional lighting in Strand Park. Studies have shown that lighting makes people feel safer and want to linger and spend more time. Please help us reach our goal to provide this to our community.
