We are excited about our 2018-19 Mission Venture Plan theme, Activate! We must activate our hearts, vision, and faith to fulfill our mission to globally make disciples, develop leaders, and plant churches. Our mission flows out of the Great Commission.

Missionaries in Africa
Okon & Grace Obot
Missionaries: Nigeria
Okon Obot, a native Nigerian, attended Open Bible's Florida Beacon College in Largo, Florida. After graduation he was granted National Missionary Appointment and returned home in September of 1989 to pioneer an Open Bible church. There are now 25 Open Bible churches in Nigeria, with over 1,200 members.


Tom & Sherry Moore
Missionaries: Guinea
The Moores were appointed to Guinea, West Africa in 1986. The country had been closed to western influence and missionaries for almost 20 yeas. As former missionary children, Tom and Sherry had lived in Guinea and Liberia, respectively, and were prepared for this unique ministry. The Moores have been involved in successful church planting and training national pastors and leadership in this mostly Muslim country.

Missionaries: North Africa
For their safety, these missionaries cannot reveal their last name or any specific information to you, which means that they may need your prayer support even more. Persecution of Christians is very high where they are located.



Drew & Jessica Welch
Missionaries: Liberia
Drew, Jessica, and family are answering the call to Rebuild Liberia. A country that was once thriving is now in a period of recovery after facing years of coups, civil wars, and corruption. The Welches aim to secure the foundation of the ministry taking place in Liberia and expand the kingdom for God's glory.
