PROGRAM MEETING
Thursday, September 15, 5-7PM
at The Folk School

Leaf Printing
with Laurel Herbeck and Mary Maisch

Our September program will be held at the Folk School, and features a very seasonal activity: Leaf Printing! Remember back in second grade how much fun it was to collect leaves, roll them in paint, and transfer their shapes to clean white paper? We will be doing just that, but using a much nicer and wider selection of paints, inks, and papers! We will also use small gelli-plates for some of the printing, so if you haven't tried it in a workshop yet, now is your big chance.

It is not required that you bring all of the following items to the meeting, as we will have some available, but if you have them it would be helpful to bring them to share: acrylic paints, printmaking inks, spray inks and other art inks, all in seasonal colors, and brayers. Pre-cut papers will be provided. We might get a bit messy, so dress accordingly!

Book Exchange theme for this month is Turquoise. Bring a book and join in the surprise of exchanging a book with a fellow bookmaker!

Please note: this meeting will take place at The Folk School!
