Pick Your Own Veggies at Bellwether Farm   
Members of the Diocese of Ohio are invited to the very first "Pick Your Own" day at Bellwether Farm on June 23 from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. The current harvest includes: head lettuce, salad mix, kohlrabi, sugar snap peas, swiss chard, kale, and collard greens. We ask that individuals/families consider making a donation in exchange for the produce. Reusable insulated harvest bags with the Bellwether Farm logo will be available for a donation of $5 or more. If you are interested in vegetables for your parish's community meals or summer lunches, please contact Farm Manager Kyle Mitchell at [email protected]. Stay tuned for information about the next "Pick Your Own" day in July. 
Safeguarding God's Children Training    
Trinity, Toledo has scheduled a Safeguarding God's Children training on Saturday, June 23 at 9:30 a.m. Please register with Jeff Bunke at [email protected] or Heather Meyer at 419.344.8851.  Also, call Heather for updated parking information during garage construction.  
Education for Ministry (EfM) Mentor Training
The Diocese of Ohio will sponsor an   EfM Mentor Training on August 2-4 at the Loyola Retreat House in Clinton, Ohio. PARISH EVENTS
June Pride Events at St. John's
St. John's, Ohio City will host a weekly "Thursday's at St. John's" prayer service every Thursday in June that will focus on an LGBTQ+ holy person or person who worked for the equal rights of all. The service will be from 6:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. and will include music and Scripture readings about equality and love. 
Located two blocks east from the original location of Cleveland's LGBTQ+ Center, the Institute at St John's and St. John's Episcopal Church will present an afternoon concert event on June 24 at 2:00 p.m. This concert will celebrate the contributions of this city's vast LGBTQ+ musician community. Curated by composer Buck McDaniel, ensembles, performers, and composers from across the greater Cleveland area will come together in performances of music composed solely by LGBTQ+ composers. An offering will be taken in support of the vital work of our current LGBTQ+ Center.
Frankfurter Fridays at Church of the Ascension 
Join the Church of the Ascension, Lakewood for   free 100% Beef Hotdogs and fun for all ages. Cornhole, frisbee, croquet, and kids lawn activities will also be available on the front lawn from 6:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. on Friday, June 22 and continuing every other Friday throughout the summer. 
America's Got Talent 2017 Finalist to Visit Ashland
St. Matthew's, Ashland welcomes America's Got Talent 2017 Finalist Kechi Okwuchi . Kechi will share her personal testimony of strength through faith after surviving a plane crash leaving her body badly burned resulting in more than a hundred surgeries. On July 7 at 4:00 p.m. youth and young adults will have the opportunity to hear her story and ask questions. A light dinner will follow at 5:00 p.m. and the evening session will be open for all ages and will begin at 6:30 p.m.

On July 8 join the congregation at 10:00 a.m. for a worship service featuring Kechi 's personal testimony and music.

Ohio Mushroom Society    
The Ohio Mushroom Society will be at Bellwether Farm on Sunday, June 24 to explore the hiking trails to search out and discuss the wide variety of mushrooms on the property. If you are interested in joining, please meet at the pavilion at Bellwether Farm no later than 10:30 a.m. The hike will last about two and a half hours, but participants may leave early if necessary. A list of mushrooms - common to rare - will be available as well. RSVP to Jessica Miller at [email protected].
