ST. LOUIS REALTORS ^® ELECTION PREVIEW

Be on the lookout in the coming days for information on the process for the election of your 2020 St. Louis REALTORS ^® officers and directors. Information will include election guidelines, time-frame, open positions and position descriptions.

Nominations will open on Friday, June 28, 2019 and will remain open through Sunday, July 14, 2019. Voting by electronic ballot will begin on Thursday, August 8, 2019 and run through 12:00 noon on Wednesday, August 28, 2019.

LOOKING FOR MISSOURI GOOD NEIGHBOR AWARD NOMINATIONS

The Missouri Good Neighbor Award program was created to recognize and reward REALTORS ^® across the state for their dedication to volunteer service. The Missouri Good Neighbor Awards program is modeled after REALTOR ^® Magazine’s Good Neighbor Awards . The winner of the annual Missouri Good Neighbor Award receives $2,500 for his or her charity, as well as statewide recognition. Candidates for this award must be nominated by their local association.

REAL ESTATE ETHICS COURSE REQUIRED FOR 2020 RENEWAL

To renew your license in 2020, you will need to have a 3-hour CORE real estate ethics course plus 9 hours of other continuing education. The other nine hours can be either elective courses, core courses or any combination of elective and core courses. CE does not apply to inactive licenses.

POSTER DESIGN RFQ

4theVille, St. Louis REALTORS ^® and other partners are seeking professional artists to submit qualifications for commissioned artwork that will be used to commemorate the 70th Anniversary of Shelley v. Kraemer and the 50th anniversary of the federal Fair Housing Act of 1964. A $1,500 award will be paid to the commissioned artist. Proposals are due by July 1, 2019.
