Monthly Updates and Resources from API-GBV

This past Domestic Violence Awareness Month, we have had the valuable opportunity to connect with advocates working in creative, transformative ways to end domestic violence. Institute staff participated in multidisciplinary taskforces, collaborative workteams, Twitter Chats, Twitter Storms and webinar panels. This month, we also launched our first community connect calls for the AANHPI community (and we are eager to share information about our next call soon!), and we are truly grateful to all those who tuned in to share support for each other.
These opportunities to create and deepen connections with our allies have helped to break down some of the isolation the pandemic has created, and we hope that you have come out of DVAM with a similar feeling of purpose and solidarity.

As we wait with frayed nerves for the results of yesterday's election, we want to make this clear: No matter what happens, our vision of a world free of gender violence does not change. We are here for survivors. We stand against violence, racial injustice, and hate in all forms. We will not stop standing until they are eradicated from our communities.
